We live on board our
boat for a full week, allowing the dolphins to get to know us,
as well as getting comfortable with each other and the
excitement of being in the water with these "Angels of The Sea".
This experience is
in a remote area of the Bahamas
that is not accessible to the general public (i.e., cruise
ships, etc.) which limits the trip to small groups of people and
helps to prevent harming the dolphin's environment.
A typical trip
allows for other water activities also, such as snorkeling,
kayaking, and spending time on the beautiful sandy beaches.
Encounters with the dolphins usually last from 10 minutes to 2
hours (of course, this is up to the dolphins), and occur several
times during the week.
If you desire to be in the water inches from a free-
roaming dolphin (known among the
dolphin family as the "Tibetan" dolphins), this trip is for you!
